The objective of the Navigation and Safety Committee is to sustain safe Shawano Area Waterways through efforts to enhance, maintain and improve navigability and boater safety.  Responsibilities include weed harvesting and spot treatment of navigability lanes along with buoy placement on the lake, the channel and the upper portion of the Wolf River. In addition, boater safety regulations are regularly published in our weekly newsletter to remind boaters how to safely navigate their vessels when in a buoyed area and within proximity to other boat traffic.
